CORIOmatrix Universal Matrix Switch

CORIOmatrix Universal Input and Output Matrix Router with up to 32 ports available, depending on the modules. The CORIOmatrix chassis-frame ships with one CPU module and one fixed DVI-I input module (with two inputs) and a single Power Supply Unit. A redundant Power Supply Unit is optional.

This chassis has 20 slots; one is occupied by the CPU module and one is occupied by a DVI-I input module, the other 19 slots are available for 16 video signals and three are available only for data. The slots can be filled with CORIOmatrix modules that have two connections; the HD-SDI input module has four HD-SDI connections.

The picture above of the back of the CORIOmatrix shows one example of how the matrix can be configured. The picture shows a chassis filled with the following modules, top-to-bottom, and left-to-right:

On top row (top row can only be input modules):
• 2 DVI-U input modules with two ports each
• 2 3G-SDI input modules with two ports each

On second row
• 1 HDBaseT output module with two ports and a LAN connector each
• 2 HD-SDI input modules with four ports each
• 1 Audio monitor input/output module with an HD44 connector

On third row
• 1 HDBaseT output module with two ports and a LAN connector each
• 2 3G-SDI scaled output modules with two ports each
• 1 DVI-U monitor output module with two ports each

On fourth row
• 4 DVI-U scaled output module with two ports each
On fifth row
• 1 CPU module
• 3 Blank slots (unused, for data only)
On bottom
• 2 Internal power supply units; one standard and one optional power supply
