MXC to Composite Video

MXC Breakout Cable allows you to input your own composite video through the MXC jack on the PCI versions of the Videum VO, Videum AV, Videum 1000 and Videum 1010.

There must be hundreds of thousands of computers that have the Videum boards installed on Win98 computers and that also do not have a USB port available. This breakout cable allows you to use a regular video camera or camcorder to connect the composite video into the Videum board via the MXC connector. This way, you are not stuck to using the MXC camera.

Another option is to use our "S-Video to RCA" cables and input the composite video into the s-video port on the Videum board, unless, of course, you do not have a source with s-video.

This adapter features:

- The male MXC plug on one end (that plugs on your Videum card' MXC jack) and

- one RCA jack on the other end for composite video input. Your video source has to have its own power.

The MXC jack on the Videum cards referenced above was originally designed to have the MXC camera get it's power from your computer to power the CCD on the MXC camera.

This adapter measures about five to six inches.
