This cable has the locking connector on both ends. The picture shows the locking connector and the construction of the cable. There's an overall PVC jacket around two separate red and white coaxial cables. The picture shows the red cable with its outer jacket stripped and exposing the spiraled outer ground conductor. The white cable shows the outer wire (ground) twisted and the inner conductor partially stripped. The inner conductor approximates 27-28 AWG. The wires are tinned copper. The 4-pin mini Din connector can be used with standard female S-Video receptacles or with our corresponding Locking Threaded female S-Video jacks. On some receptacles, the fit will be very tight since this cable has a very small non-standard "bump" on the outer shield.
