This adapter features an Apple Display Connector (ADC) connector to a DVI connector.
The ADC connector is the male version with the pins.
The DVI connector is a female DVI-D connector.
This cable allows you to connect Apple products that have an Apple Display Connector (ADC) to products that have a DVI-D connector for digital DVI. The ADC connector has 30 pins on three rows and another larger pin with 4 pins around the larger pin, 2 on top and 2 on the bottom.
The DVI-D connector on this adapter is a special conenctor and can also be changed to an HDMI connector with our DVI to HDMI adapter, that way you can use products that have an HDMI connector instead of DVI.
