This Transmitter connects to the source with an HDMI cable. The RJ45 jack connects via Cat5e, Cat6, or Cat7 cable to a Gigabit HDMI Receiver or to a Gigabit Switch.
The following installations are possible:
- One Transmitter to One Receiver for a Point-to-point connection. Connect Gigabit HDMI Transmitter using Cat 5e/6/7 cable to a Gigabit HDMI Receiver. No Gigabit Switch is required.
- One Transmitter to Multiple Receivers. Connect the Transmitter to a Gigabit Switch and the Receivers to the Gigabit Switch. An unmanaged Gigabit Switch can be used to send the HDMI signal from the Gigabit HDMI Transmitter to multiple Gigabit HDMI Receivers that connect Through the Gigabit Switch.
- Multiple Transmitter to Multiple Receivers. Connect the Transmitters to a Managed Gigabit Switch and add as many Receivers as you need. The Managed network switch can be controlled with a Control System over RS232 or IP-based control system.
