Watch your iBook movies on your TV
With your "iBook AV Cable" you can watch and hear your finished movies on your TV. If you have the iBook Special Edition that has a DVD ROM you can watch and hear your DVD movies on your TV.
Watching Desktop Movies on the iBook's 12.1-inch screen is, well, ah, loads of fun for about 10 minutes...but, wouldn’t it be great to able to watch your movies on a big screen TV or projected on an LCD Projector?
Simply connect your iBook's AV Cable to your iBook's AV port and to your TV.
If you have the iBook Special Edition with the built-in DVD-ROM drive you can also watch DVD movies on your TV with the your "iBook AV Cable". Note, if you want to connect it your VCR (as in, "let's see if we can record this DVD!") check out our "iBook to VCR" solution below.
Techie Stuff: The iBook's AV port provides composite video out Through its yellow connector, right stereo audio channel output Through its red connector, and left stereo audio output Through its white connector. If your TV does not have stereo audio (red & white RCA jacks) you can use just the red or white jack to connect the AV Cable. iBook is a trademark of Apple Computers and we're not related with them.
Note: the iBook (Firewire) and iBook (Dual USB): Composite Video Cable is not interchangeable with similar cables sold at electronics stores.
