MultiView-A Receivers: Video and Left/Right Summed Audio
The MultiView-A UTP Receivers work in conjuction with the MultiView-A Transmitters, Distribution Amplifiers and Matrix Switchers to send Video and Audio or Serial signals.
The Video supported includes all VESA modes to WUXGA (1920-1200), RGBHV, RGB, RGsB, RGBs, Composite Video, S-Video, Component Video Widescreen modes, HDTV modes, including 1080p, 1080i & 720p. The non-VESA video formats are input/output on the Multiview product line using a separate cable that has a DB15 connector on one end the corresponding video connectors on the other end.
Note: Consider the AkuComp receivers if you are using Cat5e or Cat6 and are going over 100 to 300 feet. The 100 to 300 ft. depends on the type of Cat5e or Cat6 used. The reason you need the AkuComp receivers is that the four pairs of wires (on Cat5e and Cat6) have different "twists per feet" effectively resulting in different lengths of wire for each pair. The different lengths of the pairs can result in a "timing difference" of the video and sync signals causing a visible "skew" on the video image. The AkuComp receivers allow you to compensate for the skew.
