Our custom Sony 6-Pin AV Input Breakout Cable lets you connect audio and video (AV) signals from external sources to Sony Backup Systems with Sony's Monitor with the unique 6-pin AV input connectors. This connector uses a proprietary pin configuration and is not compatible with standard 6-pin mini-DIN cables.

- Custom square plastic key (a standard rectangular key will not fit)
- Unique 6-pin configuration: 4 pins in a square grid, 2 pins below
- Non-standard mini-DIN shell with vibration-resistant indentations
- Female RCA (yellow) for composite video input
- Female RCA (white) for mono analog audio input
- Approximately 12 inches in total length, including connectors
Applications
Sony backup monitors are widely used in recreational vehicles (RVs) and have one or more AV inputs with a female 6-pin AV Input receptacles. The female 6-pin AV Input receptacles allowed for AV input to the Sony monitor directly from Sony's cameras (that output AV though a 6-pin connector) or from other sources, using this Sony 6-PIN AV Input Breakout Cable. If your RV has a Sony monitor and you want to use non-Sony cameras, this breakout cable provides the AV inputs to the monitor on the two RCA connectors. Note: This breakout cable does not supply power to your AV source. The appropriate power must be supplied separately to your source, such as a non-Sony camera.
Compatibility
Compatible with Sony backup monitors using the proprietary 6-pin AV input. We also offer breakout cables for connecting third-party cameras to Sony monitors.
Important Note
