VGA to Component Video Convertor allows you to convert a VGA signal to Component Video. The reason you need a converter and not just a cable is that a
VGA to Component Video Cable will not convert the signal; the cable is used primarily to connect the component video signal through a VGA input connector on some projectors.
If you need to go
from Component Video
to VGA, then consider our
Component Video to VGA Converter. The VGA to Component Video is similar to our "PC to TV" convertor but has Component Video outputs via three color-coded (red, green, blue) jacks. It is powered through a USB port on the computer; we offer a
separate transformer if you do not want to use a USB port or a keyboard port to power this unit.
This product ships with two batteries for the remote control; a VGA "Y" cables that allows for VGA pass-through; a 3 ft. power connector to USB; and a 3 ft. power connector to a 6-pin keyboard connector for power, that allows you to continue to connect your keyboard, if you are connecting with a 6-pin connector.
Use this converter to connect your computer to any TV, Plasma, LCD TV or Projector. It has a multi-format output for converting VGA resolutions of up to 1600x1200 into component video (YPbPr - 480i).
