4-Pin Aviation Extension Cable
Features 4-Pin Aviation connectors, male-to-female. Note, the 4-Pin Aviation connector is used to transmit power from the corresponding monitor or DVR to the camera and, once the camera receives the power, it sends video and audio back to the monitor or DVR.
The 4-Pin Aviation connector is common in aviation and vehicle applications since it provides a way to create a water-proof connection and a locking connection, as the connectors have threaded ends to tighten and complete the connection.
Please do not confuse the 4-Pin Aviation connector with a 4-pin mini DIN connector that is commonly used for s-video signals that have separate brightness and color signals.
