HDMI High Speed with Ethernet Cable, 100 ft.
Our HDMI 4K cables can deliver up to 4096 x 2160 resolution (roughly 4 times the resolution of 1080p) plus an additional, dedicated data channel. The data channel is known as the HDMI Ethernet Channel (HEC), for bi-directional networking at up to 100 Mb/second. HDMI Ethernet Channel functionality is only available if both linked devices are HDMI Ethernet Channel-enabled.
The HEC channel is great, however, I can't find a single manufacturer that actually allowed the HEC channel on the HDMI connector. This seems like it would take a lot of effort to explain to the consumer that you could run an ethernet data channel on the HDMI-HEC cable...plus consumers probably would be totally confused when they used cheap cables and then could not use the ethernet channel.
